Summary

0000021: IMAP Should stay connected

Description

The email client will not stay connected to an IMAP server. It is understandable for it to disconnect when it loses signal, but it should reconnect automatically. I should not have to manually connect all of the time. There should also be an option to run the mail application automatically when the phone starts and to keep that IMAP connection up during business hours, just like the exchange connector.

(0000017) Bjoern 10-04-06 13:17	Might be a connection idle timeout from the server (most of them have 30 minutes). Or you just configured it wrong... Menu/ Messaging/ <email acct>/ Options/ E-mail settings/ Automatic retrieval (Always enabled; Every day, All day, Every 5 minutes) Than it should work! There you can also set WHEN it should check for mails... like business hours...
